I opened my XBOX 360 before Microsoft extended the E74. Will they still fix it free?
Seal is broken still have E74, will Microsoft fix it free because they had not previously covered it?
That’s pretty garbage of them considering they didn’t have a warranty on the E74 before, and I tried fixing it because they wouldn’t.
Nope. If the seal is broken, they won’t touch it no matter if it has E74 or not.

Do I Still Have My Warrenty For My Xbox 360?
So I sent my xbox 360 to microsoft to be fixed because I received the E74 error message. So since it was the E74 error message I got to get it repaired for free, my regular 1 year warranty has already expired and my 3 year warranty for the RROD and E74 doesn’t expire til the end of 2010. Well today I went to xbox.com to check my repair status and it said that it was repaired and that they were sending it back to me. I looked at the warranty and the regular 1 year warranty that was expired has now been extended for 3 more months but now I don’t see anything telling if my 3 year warranty is still good. So my question is, do I still have my 3 year warranty for the RROD and E74 even though it doesn’t say that I do anymore? It said that I still had it before I sent it but now it doesn’t say anything about it at all.
