So I couldn’t sleep because it was so cold in my room. I turned on the heater and played a little street fighter 4. After playing some random guy online these weird lines started appearing. I thought it was because of my crappy TV. I tried turning the console off and on but then it gave me an E74 error. Now, I read somewhere that the error is caused by overheating. If this is true, then can’t I just fix it by letting it cool down outside?
I have my xbox near the window cooling right now. Also, I bought this xbox from ebay 2 days ago. I took the faceplate off and noticed that the warranty seal has been removed so I’m just going to assume that the previous owner tried to fix it.
Well, you could be lucky and your E74 means that your AV cable isn’t functioning correctly. If you have a friend who has an xbox 3e60, borrow is AV cable and see if that fixes your problem.
