Do i need a router to set up xbox live using a network adapter?
Ok, so ive got cable DSL Broadband internet conection(modem), and i recently bought a xbox 360 wireless network adapter, and i cannot get a connection signal from my modem when im on my xbox trying to join xbox live… Do i need a router of gateway to setup xbox live on my xbox 360, if so can i get some instructions or helpful links. Much appreicated! Thanks

My friend and I both had to update our routers, because we had trouble talking one on one and also inviting to private games on Call of Duty4. We both tried to open the 3 ports and the DMZ on the router and that still didn’t solve the problem. It would work one night and not the next. He got a wireless G router from D-link ($25-$35) and it solved all his problems. I got a higher end Net Gear N router that also works with my G computers and XBOX 360, but everything is really fast, especially the wireless connection. I paid $80 and it was a good investment, because my speech is crystal clear and the games play better. You will probably need a router, because I tried connecting it directly and it didn’t work at all.
It’s simple to hook up a new router and then go into Xbox Live dashboard and to Network settings and finding your signal and then linking your Xbox to it. If you have any problems, Xbox 360 tech support was very helpful and also your new router will come with 1 year free tech support and they’ll help you to set it up. If you get a router with multiplayer gaming feature, then you might not have to open the 3 ports and the DMZ function, where you put your Xbox outside the firewall.
I highly suggest investing in a good router and the new N speed with better broadcasting from the router. It will work with wireless G computers, but you will enjoy a stronger signal and better game playing. Everything will be going to N in the coming years, so might as well spend a little bit more for a N router that will last you longer than a G and then you have to buy a N later on. I am 100% pleased with my NetGear WNR 2000.

Burn Your Favorite Games With No Use of a Mod Chip

- Restart your computer and start the application
- Install and original game dvd from any console you might have, into your DVD drive open the folder and copy all the game files to a specific location on your computer. Make sure you also copy any hidden files there might be stored.
- Make sure all the files are loaded into the game burning software panel and is ready to burn
- Install an empty DVD into your drive and start the burning process. By carefully follow the instructions
Sometimes you have to be a little patience it might take a while with some games depending on the size of the game you are burning. Remember to check which DVD format your game console uses. Xbox 360 uses DVD9 and Playstation3 uses Blue Ray, else the game might not work.
You can burn as many copies as you may like. Just be sure to safe the original game on a safe place so you always can burn a new copy of the game.
