I heard from a blog that there’s a new Xbox 360 console coming out Fall2010! Anyone hear about this?
Apparently it’s called Xbox 360 Natal or Xbox Natal…i thought Project Natal was a game without controllers. I remember detailsed about this new console have an SDD instead of a HDD in it, a 6 processor thing instead of 3 etc…i just bought my 360 a week ago! if this new thing comes out…im also wondering if i can sell mine in to get that new one cheaper lol! (of course if it guarantees all problems from 360′s are gone etc)
sorry, after a few more searches it turns out microsoft denied rumours about a new console…Xbox natal is not a new console…but where the heck did this article from 1UP get info about this aye
LOL and people! i know what project Natal is and how it works..so need to tell me about it, except to differentiate it from having a new console coming out.thanks
no way dude. microsoft just announced that the xbox will run until 2015 before the new system comes out….. ok and project natal is a camera/ microphone that can tell where each body part is. this camera doesnt take pictures like the playstation eye it literally knows where each muscle, each bone, each pressure point is and it uses that info for you to play. no controllers. and it comes out holiday 2010. there is NOT going to be a new xbox!

Imagine playing a first-person shooter like Halo or Medal of Honor where turning your head right causes your onscreen perspective to change accordingly, with scenery rightwards of your alter ego viewed in keeping with your off-screen real-world movements! More than any hardware controller possible, this soon-to-come device will by itself redefine video gaming. So while today’s Xbox 360 games are quite advanced, the Xbox accessories on the horizon will require software that rethinks the whole onscreen/off screen divide. Hardware and software exist in a symbiotic relationship, and it will be interesting to see what transpires next now that the hardware has taken a quantum leap forward!
Which brings us back to the by-now seemingly humble, nondescript, even, wireless adapter. For no matter how fancy the interface, real hardware “in the guts” is a necessary foundation. And so for the kinds of social occasions that this new amazing interface is sure to create, a wireless network adapter will be not just an accessory or peripheral, but a central aspect to the reality of next-generation gaming.
